Those who can participate in YOLO DISCOVER
- People living in Japan
- Anyone aged 16 or over
- Some projects, such as those involving alcoholic beverages, are limited to those 20 years of age or older.
- Those who can upload ID
- Japanese nationals: Driver’s license
- Non-Japanese: Residence card
※To receive the free experience as a reward for posting on social media, you must have a valid work visa or permission to engage in activities outside the visa’s permitted scope.
- Those who have a social media account where they can post their experiences
- Targeted social media: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
- This service is not available for private accounts or accounts with zero followers.
Flow of the experience
STEP 1
Membership registration (free) Register here
By registering as a member, you can view the experiences currently being offered.
STEP 2
Search for experiences and check details
Search for your desired criteria and check the project details.
①Search
You can search by area, category, or tag.
②Confirm the project details
Please check the experience details, designated social media, schedule, etc.
Each project will have a designated social media platform for posting, so be sure to check.
If it says “Companion (1 person) OK,” you can join with friends or family.
Attention 💡
・Transportation expenses will not be reimbursed.
STEP 3
Application
Please select the desired experience date and time and check the terms of use before applying.
If you are selected for the experience, please proceed to the next step.
Required items for application
・Number of applicants
・Desired experience date and time
・Residence card / ID registration
・Name
・Date of birth
・Address (including city, ward, town, or village)
・Nationality
・Gender
・Phone number
・Social media URLs and follower counts
Attention💡
・If you are applying for multiple projects at the same time, please apply on different dates.
・If you wish to change the date and time after applying, please cancel your application and apply for a different date and time, if you have not yet been selected.
STEP 4
Selection
You will be notified of your selection results via email or on your personal page.
Please check the experience schedule and important points to note when posting.
Attention💡
・Once you are selected, you cannot decline. If you need to change the date, please contact the project manager via message.
STEP 5
Join the experience
Please remember to check in before your experience. Then, all you have to do is enjoy!
①Check-in
When you arrive at the experience venue, ask the store staff for your 4-digit check-in number.
Enter that number in Active Projects to complete the check-in.
②Photo and video shooting
Take some great photos and videos.
Attention💡
・Cancellations without prior notice will be considered unauthorized and will result in a yellow card.
・If you do not check in within 4 days of the experience date, it will be treated as a no-show.
STEP 6
Completion report
The project is completed not only by posting on social media but also by reporting the post to the company.
①Post on social media
Please post your experience on the designated social media platform.
Don’t forget to use the specified hashtags and sponsored tags!
②Completion report
Enter the social media post URL in Active Projects and complete a short survey.
Please submit your report within 7 days, including the day of the trial.
Attention💡
・Posts from private accounts or accounts with zero followers are invalid.
・If the completion report is not received within 7 days, a yellow card will be issued.
・Stories disappear after a certain period of time, so they are not considered valid completion reports.
About the Yellow Card System
If you violate the terms and conditions or fail to post as promised,
This penalty is applied if the service is not used properly.
If you do any of the following, you will be given a yellow card. Accumulating two yellow cards will result in your application being suspended:
・Cancellation without permission
・Failure to submit the completion report within 7 days, including the day of the experience
・Failure to submit the completion report within 7 days after a correction request
